Nine One Six, LLC is a labor relations firm that was started in September of 2020. This Philadelphia based firm specializes in supporting all of your labor relations needs from grievance representation, arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, negotiations, National Labor Relations Board charges and HR/Department CBA trainings. The firm is led by Chris Woods President and CEO. Chris and his team at Nine One Six comes with more then twenty years of labor relations experience. The firm is unique because of Chris’ background and resume with being on the union side for so many years. He was introduced to the labor movement by his late grandmother Emma Woods. In honor of her legacy he named the firm after her birthday of September 16th, hence the name Nine One Six, LLC.

Chris Woods was first introduced to the Union by his grandmother. Emma Woods, a union member, who later became a vice president of District 1199C. 916 is named in honor of Emma, born September 16th. Her memory is the seed for a legacy of integrity and tenacity centering on the interests of labor, civic engagement, and community affairs.
